Football is fusing the sporting sports (with food and music) at the
Inner City World Cup on Sunday 30th June 2024
#ICWC24 will be the event's third time in Manchester. It happens from morning to early afternoon at the Broughton Park Rugby Club and Hough End Leisure Centre (M20 1HD)

Sixteen community teams will compete in the main event and Over-40s-Legends event in four groups at Hough End's state of the art astroturf. A new initiative will launch at the ICWC24 hub, Broughton Park Rugby Club with four new communities representing. This follows a fun, Euros themed initiative for the women's games.
The Inner City World Cup is a family day out. There will be some food from various communities, on sale at Broughton Park with entertainment in the clubhouse during and afternoon and post tournament with the player's friends and families.
There will be at least two hundred and fifty players involved, with previous and future teams and players present.
The Inner City World Cup, within the Lovefootball initiative, consistently aims to unite local people from all social statuses and ethnic backgrounds. Over the years it is proven to engender kindness, empathy and understanding between all communities through sport. It also gains and maintains mutual trust.
